Subscription
Billing lives under Settings → Organizations → your workspace → Billing, and only the Owner can reach it.
Trial
A new workspace starts on a trial with everything available. Connect a channel, sync a knowledge base, invite the team and run real conversations through it — the trial is meant to be used with real traffic, because that is the only way to tell whether the assistant answers your customers well.
When the trial ends without a subscription, the workspace becomes read-only: conversations and knowledge stay, and new messages stop being processed.
Plans and limits
A plan sets two limits:
Inboxes — how many channels the workspace may connect.
Members — how many people may be in it.
When you reach either, the button to add another explains what is in the way rather than failing on save. Raising a limit is a plan change and takes effect immediately.
Everything else — conversations, contacts, knowledge articles, classifications, templates, API keys — is not capped by plan.
Changing plan
Change it from the Billing tab. Upgrades take effect at once and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current period, so you keep what you paid for.
If a downgrade would put you over a limit, remove the extra inboxes or members first.
Invoices
Invoices are listed on the Billing tab and emailed to the Owner when issued. Payment details and the billing address are edited there too.
Cancelling
Cancelling stops the renewal. The workspace keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, then becomes read-only: your conversations and knowledge base stay, and nothing new is processed.
Resubscribing restores it exactly as it was. Cancelling is not deleting — see Deleting a workspace for that.
Payment problems
A failed payment starts a grace period during which nothing changes and the Owner is emailed. If it is not resolved by the end of it, the workspace goes read-only.
Read-only means messages stop being fetched and replies cannot be sent. Conversations, contacts and the knowledge base are untouched, and updating the payment method restores normal operation immediately.
